Jess & Phil.

I met up with Jess and Phil back in September to get some pictures of them in their wedding attire. Was it their wedding day? No, it was actually their three month anniversary. They wanted some candid moments of the two of them in addition to the more traiditional type pictures their wedding photographer took, so they asked me to take some fun images of them in their wedding garb. Jess and Phil live in North Carolina, so when I took a trip down there to visit my sister, we met up for our session. All of these image were taken in the Duke gardens, which is GORGEOUS. It was the first time I went to the Duke gardens, and it was so beautiful that it made me want to move there so I could shoot there all the time!

I had a blast hanging out with Jess and Phil - and we lucked out because it was cloudy and dreary all day, but the sun broke out of the clouds during our shoot. Jess and Phil make a great couple, and you can really see how much Phil loves Jess - I mean what other guy would put on a tux 3 months after the wedding to take pictures for 2 hours??? I love it!

I LOVED that Jess agreed to lay in the grass for me....And no, her dress did not get a single mark on it for the record:)
