Keeks & Rob.

What can I say about Keeks....well, she is a great girl and I'm lucky to have her as my friend. That's why I was so excited to shoot engagement pictures for her and her fiance, Rob. Keeks' name is actually Kylene, but I call her Keeks. Trust me, she loves it, and I give you permission to call her Keeks too:) My junior year of college I lived with seven girls in an apartment....you got it right....seven girls, one apartment. And Keeks was one of those seven girls. Everyone told us we were crazy to shove that many girls into one apartment, but I'm so glad we did, because it was such a good time and I have SO many great college memories from that year.

So fast forward a couple of years, and now Keeks and Rob are engaged - they came down to Philly one weekend so we could walk around and get some engagement pictures. We didn't get a chance to take a ton of pictures, because man it was HOT out. We didn't last too long outside, so they promised to come back in the fall so we could get some more shots. Even though it was SO hot out, we had a blast because they're such a fun couple, and compliment each other perfectly. Here are some of their images:

How awesome is this blue door? I found it one day when J and I were walking around the city, so I had taken pictures of him in front of it....but let's be honest, Keeks is just a little bit prettier of a subject for the awesome blue door:)



The one thing I absolutely love about shooting in the city is that no matter where you walk, you can find something awesome to shoot....we were walking around and stumbled across this awesome little street of houses sort of down a back alley:
